200 Millionen Jahre

In Stefanie Bühler sculptures, invisible and incapable nature is united with everyday life situations. Provincial looking humans move in highly complex nature phenomenon, the universe is nothing but a night sky above a rural area of the Alps. In her sculptures, which entail both the sublime and human simplicity, 200 million years of earth history are condensed to one moment.

Stefanie Bühler is holder of the Marion-Ermer-Prize 2005. She lives and works in Dresden.
